On August 1st 2014, Prison Street Pizza opened in Lahaina, bringing new life to an old plantation-style house that had been empty nearly 20 years. The owners, Charles (“Hatch”) and Miriam Clarke, came to Maui in 2006 to open Serpico’s Pizzeria in upcountry Pukalani. After 10 wonderful years in business, the two decided to bring their love of delicious Jersey-style pizza and entrees to Old Lahaina Town. Charles and Miriam say that their love for their 6 children (all of whom will be graduate soon) is all the motivation and inspiration they need!
Prison Street Pizza designed from scratch and is based on the New Jersey-style pizzeria. (New York if you’re across the Hudson). Prison Street Pizza offers freshly made, crisp pizzas with all your favorite toppings, whether you prefer veggies or are a meat lover. Along with Salads, Subs, Appetizers, and Entrees all crafted from recipes Hatch has perfected over the last 40 years in the pizza business.
